Self Defense
Everybody has the right to feel safe and to protect themselves from attackers.
However, the average person does not know the basics to protect themselves from attack.
The American Academy of Martial Arts offers an eight week course to teach individuals the basics of self-protection. The following strategies are taught in the course:
- PSituation Awareness.
- PHow to defend from a frontal attack.
- PHow to defend from a rear attack.
- PHow to defend against unarmed attacks.
- PHow to defend against armed attacks.
- PHow to defend against multiple attackers.
The American Academy of Martial Arts also offers Self Protection classes once a month. Check our Events Page for times and costs.

What is your organization's privacy policy?
Our organization takes our privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions.
